We concluded a successful investigation into a timespill in the Cowley area of Oxford, with considerable support and assistance from the local community, to whom the Department is deeply grateful. John was returned to 1905; Vera, his daughter, to 1936 and several Victorians, names unknown, were returned to the 19th century. The Monk is now thought not to have been chrono-displaced, but a contemporary eccentric.
